Leigh has a great coffee scene and for me Tea and Tiffin encompasses the very best of the local area. A perfect blend of a family friendly cafe whilst being able to cater for even the fanciest of coffee connoisseurs it can really do it all.
Popped by for lunch today, we both had sandwiches which were excellent. One with turkey and stuffing the other hot minted lamb. Really nice fresh bread cut thick with loads of filling. Both came with salad and crisps. The cafe is decorated really well and the two ladies who served us were really friendly. With two drinks as well it came to £14 which was great value. We will definitely be back!
Another new place and wasn’t disappointed. Menu caters for all and has anything from breakfasts, salads, jackets, sandwiches and more. Friend had a sausage sandwich was more like lunch came with crisps and garnish and I had the breakfast, eyed up other people’s choices and they looked fab too. Also spotted and Afternoon tea which I’m now going to try. Nice garden area and place was cosy. Prices were good and service was just lovely.
Came her for lunch today with adult daughter and grandson. We sat in the lovely, enclosed garden in the sun. I had coronation chicken ALL homemade and plentiful! Delicieux! Daughter had full English breakfast, and grandson sausage sandwich and I MEAN sandwich wow! All meals came with added touches a few hand baked crisps, and salad touches. There is a good menu ranging from all day breakfasts, to soup, sandwiches, paninis, salads and jacket potatoes with healthy options such as avocado and poached eggs. Lesley manageress and her delightful assistant were so friendly and accommodating and we felt very valued as customers. A couple inside were enjoying afternoon tea, and I noticed the exquisitely laid table, with wreaths of silk roses adorning the table, a beauitful pink rosy teapot and dainty cups and saucers, along with a fine two tier stand of goodies home made cakes! They looked like royalty! If you are looking for a very pleasant, and relaxed experience of eating out a huge treat for us! , then this is the place to visit! It is tiny but hey! who wants a lot of noise and scuffle and impersonal service when you can have this delightful place! AND I could have brought my dog! What more can you ask for?! It is within price range ie not over the top prices and I would say excellent value for money, so don't put your prices up please! Our bill was well under £20 for three of us Thank you Lesley and Aya.
Went there for my daughter in law's 40th birthday celebration with family. very friendly, cosy, place. Nice food and lovely atmosphere.
