Contribuiți la feedbackHello I came to your restaurant for the the first time with a larger group. I am visiting from NYC for a special occasion. Though the food was good, the server who was designated to our table had a noticeable attitude. When asked she was annoyed when there were a few things didn’t come that we ordered. Once we asked for the items she noticeably rolled her eyes and our table heard her complaining about needing to leave and how she wanted to go home. I would like to bring this to your attention because your food was great and so was the atmosphere, yet I our group felt disappointed and not respected once dinner was over. It seemed like from the start anything we requested was too much to ask for and when the bill came she didn’t want to split the bill and left the table without checking on us throughout the night. The customer service was subpar, unwelcoming and left our group not wanting to come back in the future.
Went to the new one in canton,ct. food was awesome,the inside is done really nice and rustic. great bar,great food. a place to try. our server roberta was excellent. she had a great sense of humor,and was very nice.
My review is about our experience at Mercato in Canton which just recently opened but is owned by the same people. You may ask why I am posting here. The owners are the same and we were treated rudely by the one owner. His attitude of not caring about a customer was glaring. I will post on the Canton site when I can We had reservations at 515 and were seated quickly. However our table of four was on the west side of the restaurant in front of large windows. There were no shades. The sun with the glare and heat made the table unacceptable so we asked the hostess right away to be reseated and she said they could not so we gave the table a try.. Too hot! I was sweating within five minutes Facing the window the glare was unacceptable. Within a few minutes a table nearby emptied so we asked to move. My wife went to the hostess we had talked to and she basically turned and walked away, We then spoke to a manager/owner and he said let me check. After a few minutes I said we should move before they seat someone else at the table which was basically behind us. As we were moving the manager/owner returned and very rudely spoke to us telling us we should have waited for him to return. Perhaps but no excuse for his rudeness which continued when I approached him at the old table to explain why it was important that we move for medical reasons. Our waiter was fantastic and we had a good meal. Not once during the meal did the owner come by although a different owner came to assist another table that was complaining about the sun. After we switched three other groups were escorted to the tables facing the sun. All requested different tables. Two parties of two remained and sat with their back to the sun. One party of two slid into the corner. Bottom line the behavior and rudeness of the one owner was totally unacceptable
This was my first time there with two guests and was extremely pleased with the food, service, and value. Noise level was a bit high but we were seated where we could converse without yelling. Will definitely come back soon.
Worst chicken parm. Marinara sauce tasted like jarred supermarket version and chicken was tough and processed tasting. Acoustics and music extremely loud. Service mediocre.
