Akita Sushi Hibachi Steakhouse

The food was cold. Took over 30 minutes to get here. Do you know how gross egg rolls are when reheated? The gyoza wasn’t much better. Heated up the filet and it was overdone and hard to chew. Don’t think I will use DD again if they cannot deliver food timely.

Came to a birthday dinner here on Tuesday night. we ate at the hibachi table. the chef was very friendly and funny to watch. eating served teppanyaki style tasted great and portions were great. I also ordered yakisoba from the kitchen, and I was quite disappointed by this court. it was about 85 % cauliflower and swirl, there was hardly any nudity in it. I have ordered yakisoba from many restaurants in the past and did not see it with so many vegetables. I didn't really eat it because of that. also it took a very long time for our cook to come to the table. it seemed that they sat many tables, but only a few chefs available. So we had to wait 30 minutes at the table before a cook came to cook our orders. I would still come back, but be willing to wait long when it's busy.

A fair meal. We arrived as they opened around 4:30 pm.The staff were polite and the atmosphere and overall tone of the dining room were Fair/dimly lit and pleasing.Me and my friend shared some pork dumplings and a simple California Roll. However, the quality of my fried rice was below par... personally, I attributed it to (maybe) having been from the First batch of the night ?The Presentation was for sure lacking, at least on my rice.it was of course still edible. No funny tastes or odor 3 5Would still recommend to friends& I do Plan to return ?

This was my 2nd time there, food and service were both fabulous, even though it was packed. This time we opted for regular (not Hitachi) seating, as the wait was over an hour. It wasn't 20 minutes and we were seated. Jessica B was our server and she was just wonderful. My SO and I had the combo fried rice and I ordered chicken fried rice to go to take home to my daughter. After ordering, my SO wanted sushi but we are not experts on it. Jessica suggested grizzly roll after quickly learning what we liked. She pegged us perfect and the grizzly roll is now my favorite. We had sweet tea to drink and it was delicious, much better than tea I had at a sit down chain restaurant last night. My daughter's food was timed perfectly. While it was a bit pricey, it was well worth it. It's difficult to find people to work nowadays and even harder to find workers like Jessica. I made sure and sang her praises on the way out the door and wanted to be sure to sing praises on here. Great job to everyone there, even with a more than packed house, they rocked it!!!
