The Olive Tree - Southampton

The young lady working at the bar was very pleasant, and there are outlets near some of the tables. However, my experience with the food was not great. The chips were overly salty and seemed hollow when fried, topped with a small amount of chili beef. The server who brought the food to me simply placed the bowl on the table and left without a smile or any communication. Overall, I would rate the food a 2 out of 5.

I visited the Olive Cafe Bar and was very disappointed. The food looked unappetizing and their attempt at making Nestlé instant coffee was a failure. I would recommend going to the Costa upstairs instead. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, service a 4, and atmosphere a 2.

The price of a pint is now £7.50, which has significantly increased. It used to be more affordable but now it feels like a rip-off. They also no longer accept cash.

I can 't believe they only have a 2.4 star rating! We have just had a pre flight lunch and everyone in our family was very pleased. We were a bit late for the full English. The chilli was really fresh, a little heat, and a good size portion. Mac cheese was comfortably filling according to my wife. Garlic bread was delicious. Everyone loved their burgers! The guy that served us was really friendly. Service: Dine in
