The Boathouse Cafe - Southampton

Great afternoon spent. Had an afternoon tea booked and my friend and I went down early to grab a drink beforehand. So relaxing, sat in the sun.

Lovely atmosphere and surroundings ...very friendly staff ...however wasn't impressed with the vegetarian brekkie .....spiced sweet potatoes and avocado and goat cheese ...no thanks ..I just wanted a veggie sausage with all the normal trimmings ...ended up ordering a bit of sourdough bread with a small poached egg and a mushroom...

Lovely, casual and relaxed marina side dining/drinks. Jo (Manager) runs a great team of friendly, professional staff. Reasonable menu and prices. Recommended.

Cracking wee venue where my ban winter sources played. the staff was really friendly and the food was very delicious. recommend to fish dishes a rump steak with pesto! (and yes, yes, steal a little from all in the bands eat:p)
