Both patios are pretty cool, especially upstairs, dog free on the patio downstairs for the folks that have furry family members. You can not go wrong here.
On a dreary day we needed some lunch. Beer was cold. Plenty of seating and parking. We were greated and served promptly. Quesadillas were 5/5 Egg rolls 3/5 as they were too greasy for us. (But the dip was yummy)
We got to Medora before the tourist season started, so lots of the restaurants were closed. Out of the places we could chose from, I think we chose well. Hubby and I shared the Pretzels Dips 3 soft large pretzel sticks served with beer cheese, cream cheese, and a chokeberry jelly. Beer cheese was served cold, which is not my preference. But all the dips were nice. The pretzel was yummy. I opted for the Brussel sprout tacos absolutely divine! The Brussel sprouts were charred perfectly. Drizzled with a chipotle aioli. Such a good dish! I would eat this anytime . Hubby got the White Buffalo chicken sandwich hoagie roll, pulled chicken with white Buffalo sauce, coleslaw. Very yummy! Satiating, satisfying, happy food served here! Super casual vibe, unique food (at least what we chose), with quick and friendly service loved it!
While staying in Medora we stopped by for dinner and loved it so much we came back a second and third time. I ordered the rib eye, it was tender and cooked medium rare as I like. My husband had the blue cheese burger. We both liked that the menu has a nice variety and the vegetable sides were fresh. The manager, Kyle, was very nice and wanted to make sure we were being well taken care of. The next day we both had the fish tacos, the fish was a generous portion and we both like the house made sauce. Being from San Diego, we are pretty picky about our fish tacos. Our last night in Medora we had their thin crust pepperoni pizza and pretzels with 3 different dips. Bree our server and bartender made awesome Manhattans. We also noticed a wide selection of high end Bourbons. We will save that for our next trip.
Boots bar and grill is definitely a popular spot in Medora. The interior consists of wooden picnic tables and a huge bar. The service was wonderful, especially with how packed the place was. Unfortunately, they were all out of the jalapeño chokecherry jelly, so a couple of us had to change our orders. White Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. A really yummy concoction and stuffed full of meat and goodies. The hoagie bread was great, as well as the french fries.
