Despite my aversion to spicy food, I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful meal we were served. The dishes were not overly hot and did not cause any digestive issues the next day, which was a relief for us older individuals with sensitive stomachs. The menu offered a variety of options, and we particularly enjoyed the Naan bread that accompanied our meal. The restaurant also had a good selection of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as complimentary cold water in pitchers. The prices were reasonable, and the staff was helpful in guiding us through the menu. Takeaway options were available for those looking to grab a meal during football games. Overall, it was a great dining choice for us.
Had a family dinner and it was exceptionally good! I visited so many Indian restaurants in Sydney, but this one in Townsville surprised us all. Best tasting butter chicken ever and Tandoori chicken was also great. Wonderful lamb vindaloo, loved it! Great hospitality and incredibly clean and modern. Very recommended for family night, date night, company dinner! Two thumbs up
Similar to many other restaurants in the area, this one has a pretentious atmosphere and does not allow customers to bring their own drinks. Due to this policy, we decided to dine elsewhere.
We just went to nets and enjoyed everything. Chicken vndaloo, Goat curry, Veg combo, Alu Gobi, Raita, Garlic naan and Papadums. Serving Raita was tiny and it seemed to take a really long time for the kitchen to get the food out...but the service was friendly and it was really delicious. We left with a pleasant, lingering taste of spices. I would recommend it.
I sat down, had to ask for the menu, and then was completely ignored. The final straw was when another table that was seated before me was served before me. I ended up just paying for my half-drunk glass of wine and leaving without even receiving a decent apology.
