Ciao Pizza Company - South River

I went there for a pizza when they first opened several months ago and thought it was just ok, nothing special. Maybe a little too thin for thin crust pizza. But I gave them another shot using one of their coupons that included garlic knots. Well, 2nd time wasn't the charm. Pizza was dry as can be, and the topping was put on very scantily compared to other local pizza parlors, and the garlic knots were just dreadful. And another oddity to me at least is I noticed they don't put an expiration date on their coupons but instead put something (don't quote me) like for a limited time. It almost seems like some kind of cost cutting thing with the flier people so they don't have to keep changing the dates. But then requiring your customers to always ask if their coupon is still good just rubs me the wrong way. Ciao pizza, sorry, but no soup for you!

Great Italian food... Pizza was yummy... Had the old fashioned pizza...delicious!!!! Focaccia sandwich was very tasty...fast delivery!!! Definitely will order again!!!!

I had a poor experience with ordering using their online option pizza was made poorly and incorrectly. Delivery girl was polite and helpful, called the next day and the manager fixed the situation and the pizza I received was much better. I would give them another try, hopefully they are still just working out the kinks of a new business.

Pizza is decent. My main complaint (as is my main complaint with most pizza parlors) is the quality of the pepperoni. Their pepperoni is better than the chain pizza pepperoni that most places around here use, but still not great. If they went up to a good pepperoni, they would get 5 stars. So, better than Dominos/Bellissimo/Vinnys, but not as good as Pasquale.

Super quick delivery, Friendly staff, delicious food! Finally a good pizza joint!
