Willard Scoops - South Portland

The shop was clean and charming, and the staff member was friendly and helpful. The salted caramel was amazing—rich and beautiful, with what I believe were pieces of caramel chocolate, though I'm not completely certain. The outdoor tables were comfortable, and the sunshades offered protection from the occasional rain (though we didn't need them yesterday). I take my father here every Saturday.

I must say, the ice cream is fantastic. The mint flavor actually has mint leaves mixed in, which makes it very authentic. The salted caramel offers a few options like chips or nuts, and it's truly excellent. It's all really great ice cream. The only drawback is the price—it’s $6.00 for a single scoop. I'm from Vermont, and for that price, I could get a pint of ice cream...
