Two Fat Cats - South Portland

We had the most delicious blueberry cake from Two Fat Cats! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food is fantastic. We also tried a box of assorted day-old treats, and they were still excellent even on days three and four!

We ordered four mini pies from Two Fat Cats for the Labor Day weekend, and they turned out to be the worst cakes I've ever tasted. We paid nearly $80 for four small pies, each about the size of half a fist. That’s $65 for the pies and an additional $20 for shipping. The flavors were incredibly bland, almost like cardboard, and even adding ice cream didn't help at all. I won't be ordering from this place again; it just wasn't worth it.

I haven't tried everything from this place yet, but what I have had was amazing! The classic pastry is delicious, the one with the sweet filling is incredible, and the oatmeal cookies are fantastic! The blueberry bubble tea is wonderful, and don't judge me for my love of sweets—I adore their sugar cookies and cupcakes. I also ordered my birthday cake from them, and it was absolutely perfect: moist, ready on time, and exactly what I asked for. The service has been excellent too. The two staff members I've interacted with so far are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and have great energy!

We found this bakery while looking for Whoopie cake on our first day in Maine. The location was easy to find and had plenty of parking. Very friendly staff! They had many delicious treats to choose, including whoopie cakes and cookies. There were other articles. There are many funny gifts with the two fat cats logo on it; Towels, shopping bags, tshirts, stickers, etc. I also bought maple syrup candy.

I was expecting a unique place. The set up was nothing special and the selection was not as vast as I expected from the web site. The service was okay but more interested in talking with a neighbor who had stopped by than customers visiting for the first time. The goods were okay but not worth the trip.
