Urth Caffe Pasadena - South Pasadena

This is the best coffee shop and restaurant I have found in Pasadena. They only use organic ingredients in all of their products, and you can definitely taste the difference. The blueberry cheesecake was rich and decadent, and the Spanish latte, which is their signature drink, was fantastic. There are many seating options inside or outside in an elegant atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and efficient, even when it's busy. There is limited parking in the back and street parking along Madison. They also have delicious lasagne and fresh salads. I visited with two friends and highly recommend this restaurant.

I tried the napoleon dessert, which resembles baklava but has a different texture. It is less sticky and sweet, filled with a fluffy vanilla custard. I was not disappointed. I am currently waiting for my coffee, but from what I have heard, it is some of the best around. I will update my review if I find that not to be the case. The restaurant seems to have talented chefs. The indoor seating in a small plaza, safely separated from the busy road, is also pleasant. Overall, I believe this restaurant is a gem in Pasadena and Los Angeles.

The breakfast at this restaurant was fantastic. I enjoyed sitting outside with plenty of seating options. The breakfast burrito was delicious and I spotted some other menu items I'd like to try in the future. I can't recall the names of my dining companions, but everything they ordered looked appetizing.

What a great restaurant. eating was spectacular! really the best chai tee I ever had. the hummus was fantastic. I had a Greek salad with grilled chicken. my friend had a Cesar salad with grilled salmon. both were spectacular.
