I watched 3 employees including my waiter do it while I was there for my anniversary and one of them even wiped his hands on the apron as he was coming out. Won’t be coming back here again Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
The staff was so accommodating and the biryana and masala were delicious, can't help but give this place 5 stars. As a vegetarian, my dish options were emboldened, rather than diminished. Would highly recommend if you're in the area and need to pick a spot to eat. The indian food here was great! The servers were polite and helpful. I highly recommend their fried amritsari fish (appetizer) as well as their malai kofta (entrée, veg). The owner was there too and made sure we were well looked after! The ambiance was great too! There was a review saying the lamb shank was supposed to be fall off the bone tender. This was corroborated by the fact it was served with only a butter knife. Not only was it not fall off the bone tender, it was so tough the butter knife only managed to dent the sinewy meat. I had to ask for a steak knife. Also I had to ask twice before it was brought. Indian is one of my favorite foods. South Pasadena is one of my favorite neighborhoods. You have to really mess up to not make me want to come back. There are a lot of fun great places to eat in South Pas, and this is unfortunately not one of them.
