Communal Food And Drink

We had breakfast this morning, and it exceeded all my expectations! My husband ordered the queen, and it was enough to satisfy a very hungry man. I chose the omelet, which was packed with tasty vegetables and delightful cheese, beautifully presented and served hot. It was accompanied by breakfast potatoes that were cooked to perfection. The coffee was also fantastic! I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, enhanced by lush greenery all around. The waitstaff was attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant!

I visited for dinner and ordered the stuffed sole and the Zarzuela. The sole was a bit gritty on the outside but incredibly tender on the inside. The crab and shrimp filling was so good that it alone would make me want to return, and the entire meal was definitely more satisfying than a Hungry Man TV dinner. The Zarzuela my companion had was also delicious, though not ideal for someone with a big appetite. Prices were reasonable, which I appreciated. However, I would have given it five stars if not for the fact that they rushed us to settle the bill at 9:15, even though closing time was 9:30. So, I wouldn’t recommend arriving at 9:10 expecting to relax over your meal. As you've seen from my previous reviews, early closing times are one of my pet peeves.

This place is a hidden gem, and the only downside is that it's not open enough. However, what it lacks in availability it more than makes up for with its charming atmosphere, delicious comfort food, and excellent drinks. It's definitely a great spot for a date and is not to be missed in South Pasadena.

We went with some friends for a birthday brunch and we were all happy about the results. The environment is enchanting and the weather was perfect for the terrace. The drinks were great and the food was perfection. They had the perfect combination of sweet and savory and the lemon peel was delicious. We'll be back soon!

Went on a Friday afternoon and enjoyed a mellow environment, natural light, attentive service, and great happy hour prices. Enjoyed the charcuterie board, deviled eggs and fries. I hear the Heffenweisen was also great. Beautiful spot, wasn't crowded or pretentious. Would recommend to folks looking for a low key meet up spot or a place where they can have and hear a good conversation with a date.
