Goodbuy Mr Chips - South Derbyshire

An ingenious fish and chip shop. massive chip sections. they always cook fresh to order that can take a little, but they are huge and taste good so definitiw the wait.

Great small chippy, personal friendly. kebab could be a bit more generous with meat, but tasty none of the less.

Had fish and chips tonight, had cod and haddock not separated together, could not say what was what. should never be wrapped together various types of fish. quality was good, but a piece very small for allegedly large, hate watching mini size chips dreadfully dry as reheated and how do not stäbchen kartoffel in them. first and probably last visit .

Here a couple of times now and that eating is good, various packings and kebabs, although not trying to fish and chips. Unfortunately, it feels like it's a sacrifice of its own success, it's always chaotic. fair enough when eating is cooked to order, they expect a bit to wait, but tonight, waited for 40 minutes for 2 kebabs according to the said it would be 10 to 15 minutes. looks as if people were wise and pre-ordered over the phone, which simply adds to the waiting time when they go in. I hope they sorted it. especially on a Friday night.

We have ordered food to be delivered twice and both times we were very pleased with the speed of delivery and the quality of the food. Their website makes ordering easy. Happy to see the new owners doing so well. Would recommend.
