When I suggested we dine at Bombay Spice during my next visit to the area, he agreed as both of his neighbors highly recommended it. Upon our arrival just before our reservation time, we were seated on the ground floor immediately. The restaurant had a tidy and well-maintained decor with a color scheme of dark purple and white. The heart-shaped alcoves and fresh flowers on the tables added a pleasant touch, making it a great spot for a romantic evening. The menu offered a variety of options, with traditional favorites included. My friend ordered the pasanda with lamb, while I opted for the butter chicken (always my go-to at a new Indian restaurant) and we shared a keema and garlic naan. As we waited for our main course, we enjoyed a platter of poppadoms with a generous amount of dip, with the spicy chutney being a favorite. The main courses were delicious, well-cooked, and served in deep bowls, looking deceivingly small at first. The abundance of sauce made it necessary to have a carb to soak it up; the naan bread did the trick, although some rice would have been a nice addition. The only downside was the lack of a strong online presence, as booking over the phone was a bit difficult due to a bad signal. Despite the minor inconvenience, we left the restaurant feeling satisfied and pleased with our experience. Although it is a bit of a distance for me as I live 30 miles away, I would recommend Bombay Spice to any Swad resident. My friend, who lives in Woodville, will surely be returning, earning Bombay Spice a solid 4-star rating.
I have been frequenting this Indian restaurant for many years and it is still consistently excellent. Although we usually order takeout, we recently dined in and were impressed by the beautifully presented food, especially the fresh and flavorful cheese naan. The service was impeccable and I highly recommend this restaurant.
I reside in Woodville and frequent this restaurant often. The food and service are consistently excellent. I highly recommend it.
Chicken in sagwala was overcooked and very dry, meat in lamb kissan tough and hard to chew,we found one piece of tomato in the garlic and tomato nan.Overall everything was overcooked and the whole meal was lukewarm despite living less than 2 minutes from bombay spice
We have been coming here for 17 years and know exactly what to expect. Friends treated me for my birthday and it was so good. The staff are always lovely. Great service and a chat if you want it. The food is, in my opinion, the best bar none. We all had a perfect evening and can't wait for our next visit.
