Top Notch - South Bend

I absolutely loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Our server was consistently prompt with coffee refills, and even though it was quite busy with people waiting, we never felt any pressure when we needed extra time to decide on our orders. The food was excellent, and the presentation was truly appealing. We never felt rushed at any point during our meal. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. As a side note, the location is outstanding—it's the first restaurant outside the airport, making it incredibly convenient for those with early flights.

Top Notch is an inclusive restaurant that caters to people of all ages and backgrounds. I really enjoy visiting with my husband, sister, grandparents, or friends. I've been there several times, and the service has been consistently excellent. Their three-decker sandwiches and enchilada soup are fantastic, but my absolute favorite is the country-fried steak with gravy—it's simply delicious! The prices are incredibly reasonable and very affordable considering the quality and portion sizes. The food is great, and I especially appreciate the service and accessibility. My only complaint is that they close at 3:00 PM, and I wish they offered dinner as well.

My son absolutely loves this place! He always orders the cookies and gravy, while I usually go for the French toast. My fiancé often tries something new each time. We joke that coming here is the only way to get our teenager out of bed. I really appreciate the waiting staff; I've never had a bad experience here. The only downside is when the parking lot is so full that it’s hard to find a spot, but that's just a small hiccup!

The sausage and cheese omelet was delicious and excellent. Our server was friendly, nice and very courteous. We have our food very fast, although the restaurant was filled. Overall, my experience was great. I will highly recommend this to my families, friends, acquaintances and employees. This will be my breakfast place in South Bend.

First time going here and everything was awesome! Very fresh and made just how I asked. I definitely will be back! Sirloin Steak. French toast. Hash Browns and eggs.
