Taqueria Chicago - South Bend

Bummed we didnt get to try it because they were closing early. But I'm giving them 5 stars because they were so nice and still offered to do take out, but we really wanted to dine in.

Authentic, delicious food that hasn’t let me down. Friendly staff, delicious carnitas and barbacoa, they also have lingua; all the keys proteins of a authentic Mexican restaurant! The red salsa served with the chips had a bit of heat but still flavorful and not overwhelming. I love places like this as they aren’t some chain advertising Mexican food but the real deal:

I was served pink fajitas when I asked for well done. It seems like this place has been on the decline this past year or two. Thankfully they took the meal of the bill. This use to be one of my family's favorite spots.

I’m a truck driver, I was so ready to eat and was highly disappointed with the portion of food for a child. For the price they tax me with; was not worth it. I should of read the reviews first . Besides the food did taste great had my mouth watering for more

I ordered for pickup and got home to see this small portion of food. Almost looks like an appetizer. This is definitely not worth $14! 8 tiny pieces of shrimp and a spoonful of rice? Seriously this wouldn't feed my 10 year old. At least my husband's torta was a very big size and cost half the price of mine. Also the food is always leaking and messy. Even when I did deliveries here, my customers rate me bad because the food is a mess. I don't make it that way, the restaurant uses these foam containers for liquid!
