Java Cafe - South Bend

I loved this place when it first opened. Coffee, atmosphere and staff were great. I was like this is a place I could hang out. I am not a frequent visitor and it’s a treat when I’m in town to go. Fast forward the last two times I have been there July and Oct the staff have been very unfriendly. No smiles, no greeting you, they just stare at you until you order. : . Coffee was still great but just makes me not want to go in there anymore.

Best coffee in south bend as a resident of the city for 35 years. In addition, they have Wonderful business and great service. I asked them to open early for my daughters wedding so we could have their coffee early in the morning and they happily obliged. I would highly recommend to anyone!

This place has so much potential but i think just poorly staffed. I have gone there a handful of times and it’s continuously gotten worse. I went for my last time today and was handed 4 ounces of a latte in a 16 ounce to go cup.

Favorite coffee shop in South Bend my wife and I love to pull up and work on grad school with a warm Cocoa Blanco on the table. However, recently the staff seem to be inconvenienced to take your order, and they close the kitchen inordinately early on Saturdays. They're open till 3, but I've tried to order a sandwich (their club is amazing! At 1 and I'm told the kitchen is closed.

Modern, clean cafe! Love the large floor to sealing windows! They make the space so bright no matter the weather outside. The coffee and food are also quite good. Tried their current fall drinks and was impressed!
