Their excuse for not selling anything vegan: 'they don 't sell '

Really disappointed as many recommended their vegan options however, we were advised they did not have any available. They did offer to make us a tomato pasta but I found the lady that served us wasn't very friendly and lacked good customer service so decided to spend our money somewhere else

A lovely warm welcome from the team on arrival. We always like to choose an independent place to stop at where possible We ordered Cullen Skink soup and a bowl of chilli chicken with wedges. Plus hot drinks. Our server explained what the ingredients were in the food which was good The food was very tasty and piping hot It's always good to try some of the local cuisine when you can and the soup was delicious Definitely a nice place to stop for lunch

Welcomed with a warm friendly greeting, service was prompt and friendly, best coffee in the area- worth the visit alone. Mains were brilliant and good sized portions. Good selection of cakes so indulged in a treat at the end. Good value for money Would highly recommend this wee gem to anyone.

Decided to travel 8 miles to breakfast here. Mistake! Restaurant nice enough looking. Considering this was quite early and not many customers the toilet (yes only one could have been cleaner and smelling nicer. But to the breakfast. I did think about having the full breakfast and this may well have been nicer. I opted to have two breakfast rolls. The rolls were cheap and nasty, think of a six pack out of the cheap and reduced section of a supermarket. They were really bad. I had asked for the bacon on my rolls to have the fat removed and to be medium to well cooked. I received cindered bacon. The fat had not been removed but in an attempt to perhaps hide it the 2 very small rashers of bacon on each roll had been had been cremated (may it rest in peace! I left half of each roll and had removed the bacon onto the plate. The server did not how to manage this she did ask if everything was ok and tried to just walk away as I told her no!
