Papa's New Roost - Sonora

This is a fantastic place to enjoy Sunday brunch with friends. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The waffles were delicious and the omelette was outstanding. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit understated, but overall the food was excellent.

On a recent Sunday morning, I had a long drive ahead of me and decided to pick up a hearty breakfast just in case I wouldn't have time for lunch. The young man at the restaurant hit the spot! I ordered the fried steak, which turned out to be a prime rib disk that was baked (not fried) and topped with gravy. It was a bit heavy for my taste, but some people might enjoy it. The hash browns were crispy and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The biscuits were fluffy, but I was too full to finish them and ended up taking them home as a snack later. Overall, I would recommend this place for breakfast anytime!
