Grumpy Bobas - Somerville

I have just four words for you: milk cloud tea skirts! I could say more, but honestly, that drink is incredible and a must-try. This lovely café in Somerville specializes in Boba made from organic ingredients. If you're in search of a refreshing treat or, like me, a pick-me-up after a long day, this is the place to visit. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly, too! Another favorite of mine is the Strawberry Matcha latte. Go give it a try, and you'll thank me later!

I visited this restaurant on Saturday with my family (my daughters are 3 and 1). The strawberry Matcha Latte was fantastic! It wasn't overly sweet and was packed with Boba. My daughters shared a Lychee Kefir, and I found myself wanting to steal some because it was so fresh. I wouldn’t be surprised if they pressed the Lychee just for our drink. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be returning to this place!

Absolutely amazing. Usually I have to go to Edison or Princeton for big bubble tea, but this place is so convenient and amazing. Really happy, that just arrived in time for the summer.

YUMMMMM! Loved our Boba teas!!! Very nice staff and Yanshu, the owner, is so sweet! Little world, we went to Rutgers together! We will definitely support our colleagues Alum again! Also... I saved one of my teas for the next day and the Boba was still brilliant! Very recommended!!!

Loved it! So excited that we have an amazing shop for all our Boba cravings!!! Our family has been looking forward to our first visit and we were not disappointed! Just have one request! Can you guys think of adding more flavored milk teas in the future (strawberry, mango,etc)? either way we will be back! Yum! Also, your staff was beyond friendly and accommodating! Very lovely!
