Playa Bowls - Somerville

When someone ordered a FROZEN Sorbet based bowl... What you do. It sits on the counter (MELTING), while you wait for their arrival. I came 7 minutes earlier than the scheduled pick-up time I just thought I'd wait... and I just can't imagine if I had been on time after I picked it up and traveled back to my goal just because it was totally MELTED and INEDIBLE. The STAFF at this SPECIFIC site has GOT better to do. I'll stay with the other locations! You always pulled my order out of a fridge.

Nice place. Very clean, great location and unique menu. Love the art in the store. The fruit bowls they have here are fantastic, but I usually come for the smoothies. Staff seem nice and very accommodating every time I'm in there. 5 stars are especially for the cleanliness and unique offers they offer at Playa Schalen. I'd try it at least once.

Playa Bowls is great. Very nice, polite and professional staff. Order is always fast and exactly prepared! Very recommended!

This is the second time i've been really disappointed in this location. I asked for a pita vida with no honey, the bowl came out with honey which i can't eat. I politely brought it back and was faced with attitude from the workers. The second bowl was made correctly but on my third bite I found an extremely long hair in the granola. I understand that things happen but this is not my first experience where i was dissatisfied. I also wrote the company but still haven't heard back from them. I would skip this location in the future.

I liked it very much. Now its became my wife?s favorite restaurant. The place is clean and the staffs are nice.
