Peasants Feast - SOLVANG

This charming restaurant offers delicious food and outstanding service—better than many higher-rated and pricier establishments. We started with the tuna carpaccio and fried chicken, the latter being among the top five I've ever had. For the main courses, we tried the duck and halibut, both of which I would highly recommend. Overall, it's a high-quality dining experience.

I had a delicious fried chicken sandwich that had just the right amount of heat. The crust was crispy and crunchy, and it stayed intact. The side of tomato soup was very tasty as well. The indoor atmosphere was charming too!

My daughter and I celebrated her 21st birthday in Solvang, and after indulging in some fried and less healthy food, our meal at this restaurant was outstanding! She ordered the heirloom tomato soup, while I had the heirloom tomato salad. Both dishes were full of fresh ingredients and absolutely delicious! We then shared a steak and both agreed it was one of the best steak meals we’ve ever had! The staff was exceptionally considerate, and the service was impeccable. This will definitely be our go-to spot for our next visit!

Came here with my daughter and had duck breast for dinner. It tasted so good. Love our waitress, Sarah, she was nice and so very friendly. Thank you!

Great food, service and a casual charming ambiance ! We sampled various dishes, all were plated with care, flavorful and balanced to please the palate: Heirloom tomato Burrata salad, Sunflower risotto and Hangar steak. Sarah served us as if we were special guests and the manager came by to make sure se were happy. We’ll definitely return next time we’re in the area!
