North Country Brew Pub - Slippery Rock

I've been visiting this restaurant for years, whether for special occasions or just a casual dinner. It's such a quirky and welcoming place. The wait staff is usually made up of college students, and we've always had positive experiences with them. The food is delicious and offers a great variety. We absolutely LOVE their burgers, artichoke dip, and buffalo chicken dip! They have a selection of staple beers on tap, as well as some rotating options. I recommend getting a flight so you can sample multiple beers! They also serve mixed drinks and homemade cream soda.

This is definitely a spot for beer lovers. They have an extensive draft selection, and the beer itself is truly delightful. The interior has a fantastic vibe; it feels like you're in a charming woodland cabin, very cozy and inviting. The food is good—not exceptional—but flavorful and reasonably priced. Remember, this place prioritizes its brewery aspect, which is the star of the show. The staff are fantastic—super friendly and prompt. Be prepared for longer wait times, so it’s advisable to make a reservation if you plan to dine in, especially on weekends, as they do not offer call-ahead seating. Make reservations whenever possible!

The atmosphere is fantastic! I tried the pumpkin ale, and it was incredible! It complemented one of the best Reubens I've ever had. I also enjoyed the sweet potato fries and the fried pickles. It was the perfect way to wrap up a busy day!

Cozy space with good food and a nice selection of beer. Anytime we are in Slippery Rock we make this a lunch or dinner stop. They have a really nice outside space as well.

My husband loves this place. He sees a local doctor and then wants lunch and a beer here. Today he ordered the fish and chips. I ordered a rack of ribs with beer mac and cheese and sweet potato fries. We ended up switching meals because the smoked spices on the ribs were too much for my palette. The coleslaw tasted like mayonnaise with a little cabbage so I left it on the table. Our waitress was excellent!!! We were also impressed that the lady behind the bar came down the ramp and seated us promptly. (We’d had a longer wait in the past which was frustrating. My husband enjoyed drinking the Embalmer and I had a specialty cocktail with peach bourbon. Both were tasty. Our shared s’mores cheesecake dessert was delicious!
