Wendy's - Slidell

This restaurant has only been open for about a year, but it's never too crowded. The service is consistently friendly and quick. The lobby is tidy and well-maintained. The old location on Gause is quite disappointing, so we prefer to skip it and drive a couple of exits up to this one instead.

Great food and it’s not too busy during lunch hours. Conveniently located just off the interstate on the service road.

It was the drive thru and they got everything right! I didn't have to turn around to get anything they forgot the first time! They actually put napkins in the bag as well as my spoon for the Frosty and I didn't even have to ask them for the straw. What !! amazing these guys are on point! Thank you late night drive-thru window crew. Including a picture of my sketch of Wendy in acrylic paint. If you use your imagination she's all grown up now butt-naked. Her mermaid tail glistening in the Sun. holding the triple stack Baconator on a rock with a seagull staring wistfully at the sandwich.

Drive through was quick and they got my order right.

This is definitely my favorite Wendy's! I've been in Slidell for training over the past month, and I always choose this location. There's a manager—I'm not sure of his name—who is always in the headset taking orders and is incredibly pleasant! Yesterday, I ordered a bacon and cheese potato, and he said, "And they are so good," which turned out to be true; they were delicious. He really should train all the new hires because his demeanor is outstanding! I'm going to miss this place when I leave. The restaurants in Baton Rouge could really benefit from his expertise. I visited around 12:45 on Friday. Please extend my thanks to that gentleman!
