Soma Grille - SIMSBURY

We had a great experience at Soma Grille delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. The menu is varied enough that everyone can find something they like! Don't miss this restaurant it's inside the 1820 House, but you don't have to be a guest at the Inn in order to eat here. We will definitely be back!

Nice ambiance, tasty food and attentive wait staff. I had the short ribs and it was super delicious. Aidan was very nice and attentive. Jared showed off his cooking skills with a spicy lollipop chicken. Will definitely visit again.

Went there for our anniversary. What a great place! The service was outstanding and the food/drinks were next level! Our server Aidan was great and recommended some great appetizers and drinks. I will definitely come back for that experience!

Overall positive experience with the food and service. I came with a large party reservation made ahead of time. Our party was accommodated with no issues even with Separating checks at end meal. I recommend the short rib entrée. Just be aware this is a bit pricey meal but I think that is typical given the location. Also trust your gps and look out for the signs so you don’t miss it as it’s in a older white home on top of a hill.

Very pleasantly surprised! The place is hidden away, not pretentious in the least. The menu is straight forward and priced for value. The food is thoughtfully made without any hint of foolish fancy. The flavors are bold and fresh. The portions are satisfying. The wine list and libations selections are appropriate and accessibly priced. The bartender is clever and the chefs are talented and eager to please. That's very refreshing to see nowadays! I shall return.
