The Winged Bear - SIMSBURY

Quiet night. Just another table on a week night, and we were there early. Great Caesar salad and much to share. The pizza was excellent with a delicious crust. Our first time here and we're going back. Our waitress said she was new, but did a great job. Very friendly and gave us the right amount of attention.

My friends and I went to this restaurant for lunch and had a delicious sandwich with cheese and mustard that was excellent. We definitely plan on returning! We also ordered a Hawaiian pizza that was amazing. The crust was perfect and the ingredients tasted fresh with no complaints. For dessert, we shared a slice of carrot cake that was also delicious. The icing was especially amazing. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent service, a good atmosphere, and not overly busy. We will definitely be back.

My party and I dined at the Winged Bear for dinner, marking our first visit since the pandemic shutdown. I am happy to say that the restaurant still offers the same high-quality food. The Cuban sandwich I ordered was delicious, and my companions enjoyed their meals as well. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, striking a good balance. Our meals were promptly served, but we never felt rushed. The prices were reasonable. It would be helpful for the restaurant to update their online information, as only Google had accurate hours listed. We definitely plan to return in the future.

This small restaurant is fantastic! The pizza had a delicious taste and the crust wasn't too thin. The wings were also very tasty. I would definitely come back to eat here again!

The chicken parmigiana is excellent! The pizza is perfectly balanced with cheese, sauce, and a variety of topping options. It is a great place to hang out on their outdoor, dog-friendly terrace.
