Since the renovations I've come back to eat here pretty often. The atmosphere and menu are much better since. I normally eat in the dinning area; great service every time! This time my friend suggested we sit in the bar section. Ordered drinks then decided to order food. When the food came out I ordered a second drink and a water. The water came but not the second drink. We didn't see her again, she was too busy chatting up the guy who ordered a beer and burger. She then came and asked if we wanted the bill, food on the table and half way done our beer?! Wth? My friend asked for a take out tray, we had to be very specific about that. Being that I ate there often I knew they had certain containers. Only time I've had bad service here in over two years, stick to the dining room if your getting food as well. The bar side wasn't busy like the dining room but I still think service would have been better there.

We have eaten here while traveling several times, never disappointed.Good choice of meals more than just pub food. Excellent service. Meal for two , one drink ,no desert around $35. Will return.

What a joke!I ordered the fishermen's platter. I would steer clear of this dish completely; unless you want to pay $19.99 for French fries and onion rings because that's what I got the most of. I should have sent it back. My plate consisted of a small piece of fish. Exactly 4 calamari rings that were under cooked. I also got 2 shrimps that had no flavour and 2 itty bitty scallops one with coating and one without. Our waitress was inattentive and never came and asked how our meal was. I would have like to tell her it was awful but didn't get the chance. I asked the waitress from the get go if I could have more fish sauce and she promised to be back with more but never came. We had to flag someone else down and ask again. Fish sauce made it barely bearable to eat. We were seated in a horrible location with uncomfortable small bench chairs. The man behind me kept thumping on the back of my bench seat and was absolutely miserable to sit next to the whole time he was there. Will not be back.

Does not stand out physically and a little tricky to locate but food and service are first class. Took a group of 12 for lunch and everyone was very pleased with all aspects of the visit. We will be sure to return with the wraps and perch dinners both leading contenders for our next delightful meals!

Everyone at my table had something different and we all loved it. My Thai salad was so large I had to take half home for supper.
