Fiaschetteria Il Pulcino - SIENA

We were told a ten minute wait but locals came in after us and were seated before us. When finally seated we received minimum service. Admittedly the food was good but I would not go there again because of the way we were treated compared to the locals.

If you want to go for a casual meal, this is a good place to go!! The food is good and fresh, and we paid below 10€ per person!!

This is where the locals go for a great lunch. Tried the pumpkin Lasagna which was outstanding , pici and taglietelle pastas and pollo. The pastas were all very tasty and well prepared. Grilled chicken was fine. House wine and chocolate cake also good. Drop in for a plate of whatever the special is and you wont’ regret it. Gets busy so go just as they open at noon.

Genuine cuisine....and abundant! when I can go to the girl. I highly recommend it. You'll see!

We stopped at lunch on June 2nd. the place was full, but the bartender and Filipino waiter were always very friendly and caring. it was certainly the second or even the third lap they gave to the tables and some dishes of the menu were finished, but what we ate was quality and very nice. definitely to return on a quieter day also for a chat with the staff. Good people!
