Maple Ash - side

One of the best steaks I have had in Chicago. The vibe was killer, steaks cooked to perfection, and accompanying dishes were wonderful. Just be sure to save room for that coconut pie.

Steak: way too salty. Mushrooms/Broccolini: overcooked into mushy slop. Meatballs: way over-seasoned and dense.

Avoid. The food has gone downhill in favor of a “nightclub” atmosphere.

Solid meal. Drinks were good (cocktails) Food was good (steak and seafood) Dessert was not special but not bad. (chocolate cake) Server was knowledgeable and pointed us in a good direction with our order. Time limit to eat said 2 hours via the text we got thenight before, we were told 90 minutes when we got there. It wasn't an issue, but still. FYI: Reservations made ahead of time need a $200 deposit over the phone. 24 hours ahead can't cancel.
