Up For Brunch Cafe - Shreveport

My fiancé and I visited this location for the first time today and let me just say, EVERYTHING was amazing! Great food, the portions were very large. Atmosphere is absolutely chill, and welcoming. Our sever “Meg the Stallion” was Top Tier, attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and very nice! Of course the bartender Maddie was absolutely on point! She made our drinks to perfections and even suggested the coffee flight, which I highly recommend getting. Overall I give them a 10/10!!

This place was AMAZING!! We had the Brunch Board, chicken and waffles and the Mimosa sampler..The cornbread waffles were perfect!! Nice lil vibe, really enjoyed it..Will definitely be back..Our waitress was Jazz , she was a doll, and down the earth and gave us prompt , friendly service..Manager Mattie was sweet and personable as well..

We just came here recently and it has cool vibe, instagramable interior, the food is good. We just notice that they need to get better with their service. The wait takes 15-20mins before you get seated, they don't have coke products, no silverware and napkin, you have to ask for someone else to bring it and it takes a while for them to come back.

I am giving this place a 3.5 star. The location is easy to get to with ample parking. It is a nice clean building with great seating and decor. We were seated quickly and our waitress was great and friendly. In fact the entire staff was friendly! The wait time to get our food was minimal. The iced coffee was delicious. Those are all good points. The cost of the food is expensive for what it is. The fruit cup brought to me didn’t have the freshest fruit and the pineapple tasted like it was stored near the grease trap. The breakfast tacos said they came topped with avocado and pico de gallo but really it is everyday salsa and not a single piece of avocado on it. The tacos were good just not as described. The beignets are average at best. Definitely not the best We have had and only came with two for $6.00. I had to go to the counter to pay, I’m not sure that is what you are supposed to do but that is what I did because the waitress had not brought me the check and I needed to go. I’ll be back one day and hopefully I can give them at least one more star! Not a bad experience just not a perfect one!

Hands down best French Toast , food presentation was beautiful, very friendly and attentive service too! ??
