The Hickory Stick - Shreveport

Just not very good food. I had the chicken plate. Skin on the chicken was unchewable. Potato salad was crunchy....Beans were the best part of the meal. Staff were friendly and we got our food quickly

Overpriced and underwhelming. Service was okay. I ordered a two meat plate and it was absolutely ridiculous for $20.50 . They gave me ONLY three very small ribs(not tender) and deli sliced beef. The bbq sauce tastes like ketchup/vinegar. The beans and potato salad servings were small. Potato salad is OVERLY sweet and inedible. Beans have ground meat in them, but they're not too bad. I absolutely will not be back here. I am very disappointed.

Great BBQ hands down. But what happened to all the sweet women who worked here? Seems like every time I go now I?m rushed by unhappy workers who play on the to go speaker. What happened? If you do not like to interact with customers do not work in the customer service industry. The sweet lady who works the register inside is always nice.

Our company orders DoorDash daily, and several times now when ordering Hickory Stick several of us have paid for extra sauce and received zero sauce. Really showcases how dry the brisket is, along with the less than stellar attention to detail.

Joyful workers. thin sliced ham (which I dipped into the sauce) was very good.
