Strawn's Eat Shop - Shreveport

Classic greasy-spoon hole in the wall, lived up to the hype! Strawberry pie was made with fresh strawberries and was very good! Awesome looking hamburgers, I had the chicken fried steak, wife had the huge cob salad with freshly grilled chicken! Service was good and fast, authentic stop on a long road trip!

I 'm not exactly sure why we have never came here in the past, just never did, boy were we missing out. Parked in the rear of the building and came in the back door. On the way in, we were talking about never having been there. Well low and behold as soon as we sit down at our table the owner brings us a slice of strawberry pie. He says, I heard you have never been here before. Here 's a slice on me. And that 's when I knew I was in trouble. Let 's just say that it was a verylarge meal with more pie to follow. So, the meal started with a slice of strawberry icebox pie. Easily the best part. It was delicious. The rest of what we got was great as well. I got a burger and fries and the Mrs. got the hamburgersteak and mashed potatoes. After that we went ahead and got another slice to share. This time chocolate. Man, am I full! Well done Strawn 's!

Owner was on site and very pleasant. Some of the best breakfast we've had in awhile. The chocolate ice box pie was delicious. Staff was quick and attentive. 5 out of 5. Including an updated menu!

Just perfect. Road Trip to Texas. Stoped in Shreveport to Eat at Strawn?s. It?s awesome. Service was great. Turkey and gravy, omelette, Waffle and Big Breakfast. The strawberry pie was the best ever. People patrons and staff were all happy.

Really good spot. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious.
