Posados - Shreveport

The food was okay and the service was just fine. The table wasn't clean. Had to ask for cutlery.

A strange happy hour is only from Sun-Thurs.... on Friday when I post this and I wish I had to experience happy hour. Beer price is kind of steep. My two lunch special tacos taste VERY-shop bought. The hard shell taco was not authentic. Cheddar cheese! You didn't put a Cheddar cheese on a taco. Chips and salsa.... the chips seemed to be bought. And the men's restaurant was dirty. Carpets were softened with liquid.

Many years come to this place... I don't come here very often, but I'll say... If I do, I eat most here. Like all Posados I have through the years, they are very consistent with their menu. I had fast friendly service and my plate was pretty, hot and tasty.

The queen was real cheese (not watered prefab) and fabulous. The Brisket street tacos were filled with great tasting Brisket (not Briskett warps). The green sauce and spicy sauce were another addition to this meal. The price was a bit much for the amount of queso I got in a big order, but I guess the price you have to pay for the real deal. Oh and the pico was perfect and just the right amount of spice. Wasnt impressed by the house hot sauce.

Didn't expect to get decent Mexican food in Shreveport, but I was wrong. The food was great, the service was excellent and the place was spotless. Will definitely be back the next time I am in town.
