Royal Unicorn - Shoreline

I love this quaint little neighborhood restaurant and bar. The Mongolian barbecue was always my favorite, but I'm not sure since it's now under new ownership. Fingers crossed they kept the same cook!

This restaurant is currently closed for renovations. The voicemail message states that they plan to reopen in January 2022, but it is now February so it is uncertain when they will reopen.

Very good. Every thing was great. Definitely be back.

I ordered two egg rolls and Chef's Specialty, Chicken with Special sauce. I'd ordered this before, and the meal was excellent.This time, there was a 40 minute wait as they were very busy. I picked the food up and went home to find General Tso's chicken and two greasy spring rolls.They made me drive back to the restaurant to return it.They actually made me drive back and return the food to them to fix their mess up.I'm tempted to give one star.

Ordered the Unicorn Dinner for 2. Service was great it was ready by the time I drove to pick it up. Happily tipped them over and above, but when we got the food home, it was so disappointing and barely edible. The wontons, steak cubes pork, and eggrolls were overcooked and obviously deep fried in very, very, VERY old oil that left everything tasting burnt and greasy. Yuck! The soup and sauces on the entrees were very thick, gelatinous, and tasteless. We won't return, which is a shame because we're trying to support local restaurants during the Covid lockdown.
