Regal - Shillong

Regal Restaurant is the first place to come to mind when I think of Dosa and an aromatic cup of tea. These two have long been my favorites. I love it for many reasons: not too pricy; a wonderful ambience; good service; multicutines; it has also expanded it's menu by introducing baked goods. A must to go.

I've been coming here regularly for years, I have to say the food is really good here, Dosas, Biryani and be it all. Although there is a slight change in taste lately, but still good enough. Would definitely recommend everyone and it is always packed the most time. But it was worth it. Good service, although after extension, there is only one server in the new compartment, so it takes some time to get your order. But if you sit in the old master room, the service is good enough.

You must try the Dahi Vada for Rs 89 at this restaurant.

This is the perfect spot for enjoying South Indian cuisine, as well as a variety of chaat dishes, such as dahi and papdi chaat.
