Via Cibo - Sherwood Park

All I can say is meh. This is an upscale sbarro and not that great food. Pizza was ridiculously bad. Sandwiches are ok but I just don't like the order style.

After buying a Groupon and hearing good recommendations from a few friends my girlfriend and I decided to check the place out and could not have been more satisfied. Food was quickly made and fantastically prepped, and we were greeted by the owner at the end of our meal for a quick chat and a free brownie. Highly recommend eating here.

This place has an interesting cafeteria type layout, a little confusing at first but not bad. I got really excited when I saw they had Gnocchi on their menu, so I ordered it immediately. The staff were friendly and nice, but my food was tasteless, the gnocchi was mushy. Maybe I would return to try something else, but I'm in no rush, not with better Italian restaurants in the area.

First time in this establishment. I did not know it was an ordering line like a cafeteria. It had sit down seating where you were given a number for the server to find you with your order. The pizzas I ordered came out in good time. They had a wood fired clay oven (not 100% sure but it looked like one.) The pizzas were a bit on the small side but tasted great.

Quick, fresh Italian food. It was the best of fast food and homemade I've had for Italian. Nice sized salad and pizza for $12
