<br/ Its always exciting to find a hidden gem Patio and Branches in Sherwood Park is definitely a garden oasis worth checking out!<br/ <br/ We stopped in for a late afternoon meal and throughly enjoyed our experience. <br/ <br/ The quiet music in the background pairs nicely with the flowing stream and waterfall that skirts the plant filled Patio. From your Patio seat you can take in the lush greenery that the Greenland Greenhouse backdrop provides. <br/ <br/ Cristina had the Rhubarb mojito and loved it while I enjoyed some Alley Kat draft beer.<br/ <br/ Food was great and the staff was attentive and friendly. A great Patio for a intimate date night!<br/ <br/ <br/ Ambiance: 9/10<br/ <br/ Food and Drink: 8/10<br/ <br/ Staff and Service: 9/10
I have been here a few times and have always had a great experience. Love the ambiance. In the winter I sat inside, so nice to be with greenery and feel the sun through the large windows, and in summer I sat outside, which was even nicer. Service has always been friendly and I like that it is now table service. Food is great, too. Last time I had the Mediterranean pizza which had a lovely tang with the olives, and a spinach salad. The salad had promise with candied dates and poached pear but the pear was too small and it just felt like it was missing another element, like something salty. I will definitely return to this place again and again.
Another wonderful meal at Branches...love this place! I tried the Duck sausage Fries for the first time and it was a hit! Not surprising, as everything I have tried at Branches has been fabulous. One of my favourites is their Mediterranean pizza. You have to try this place, you'll get hooked. Went to their Why Not Wine Thursdays the music was great. If you live in Edmonton it's just a short trip down the Yellowhead or Anthony Henday. Definitely worth the drive.
Excited to give Branches a try tonight.<br/ Pretty good.<br/ Not amazing.<br/ $30 for a chicken pesto pizza, brushetta, and overpriced bottle of iced tea.<br/ Resonable I suppose for an above average meal.<br/ Brushetta fresh and flavourfull. Pizza thin, criso, and satisfying. <br/ I thouroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and decor. Very modern, and clean. Alas, I found the most distressing part of my visit to be the noisy employees behind the counter. They all too often brok the tranquil, greenhouse setting with their boisterous behavior.<br/ I must say that their system of seating oneself, taking in the menu alone and then ordering at the counter (and paying before eating) make me less apt to be gracious when the debit machine spurs me for a tip. At this point, I have neither enjoyed the food, or experienced any customer service.<br/ I may be back.<br/ I may not.<br/ But if you're in the neighbourhood...Branches is worthy of a shot.
