Regarding the fact that it is difficult in Shenyang to find veggie restaurants, this is a good one. Classic veggie buffet as you can find many in South China. Very cheap, variety could be better, but it's okay for the size of the restaurant.

I am thrilled to see more vegan (yes, this restaurant is fully vegan, not vegetarian) options opening up in Shenyang. This particular restaurant has quickly become one of my top choices. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes at a very reasonable price, with the buffet and drinks costing only 20 RMB. While it may not strictly follow a "high carb, low fat" approach, I highly recommend this restaurant overall.
