Wendy's - Shelton

I visited the Wendy's in Shelton and unfortunately, my experience wasn't great. I ordered the Chili Cheese Blowout Jr. Cheeseburger, but it didn't meet my expectations. Typically, Wendy's serves excellent food, so I was quite disappointed this time. However, I’m willing to give it another chance.

I decided to go inside to place my order due to a long wait in the drive-thru. The restaurant was clean and my food was fresh. I paid with cash, but the cashier gave me a torn bill as change. When I asked him to replace it, he became quite rude and said he couldn’t because his register was closed. I told him I would wait until the next customer came in, and his attitude only got worse. Eventually, he called a manager to assist me, which reflected very poor customer service.

I wanted a late-night snack and decided to stop at this fast food place that was open. When I got to the drive-thru about half an hour before closing, the employee informed me that they only accept cash. Cash only at a nearly empty restaurant? Who does that?! If this is a regular practice before closing, they should definitely let customers know in advance to avoid disappointment and frustration.

Very fast drive thru. This Wendy's knows how to get customers in and out quickly. Very well run location.

Clean , friendly staff , food good. I don't regularly do Wendy's a little too expensive for me but when we do never disappointed
