Spotted Horse Tavern - Shelton

The food was delicious and the positions were large- there are so many items that looked and sounded good on this menu. I had the Greek salad with shrimp and it was really good- especially the dressing. My friend had the veggie burger- she was happy to see it was made in house and not just a beyond burger which is why she chose it. We had the calamari but it was slightly fishy so I would probably skip that next time. All in all great experience! Very nice inside and our waiter was great. Food came out within a reasonable time frame.

Love the food, top notch drinks, and friendly service! Between the steaks, dragon chicken bowl, and the veggie spasta; you are in for quite a treat. Great ambiance for a date as well.

Overall the ambiance is good; numerous horse pictures and themes. Food is ok, nothing that screams innovation. This place actually reminds me of a spot on the same location in Shelton, marketplace I think.? Same ambiance. Service is decent. I heard raves about this place, I just didn't experience anything significant.

Had the pleasure of dining last monday at the Spotted Horse Shelton. I had the Porkchop Scarpiello, my wife had the Grey Goose Cobb and my kids split a chicken Buddha Bowl! The server we had was Alvaro and he was so good that he modified my wife's salad with no fuss and he even split the kids bowl in 2 without us asking! 10/10 service. 9/10 food. 10/10 atmosphere. Phenomenal experience highly would recommend.

This place is great. Good food, drinks, and atmosphere. Would reconfirm the calamari and burgers.
