18 Bay - SHELTER ISLAND

Jimmy was very accommodating as we got to the island late that Friday evening. Had a nice table ready for us and made sure we were satisfied. Dinner and service were great!

What a pleasure it was to visit 18 Bay! The entire experience was top-notch. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient, and the wine list was extensive. The food was delightful, featuring a seasonal and fresh menu with creative dishes that boasted beautiful aromas and textures. For a high-end tasting menu, I found the restaurant to be quite affordable. I appreciated the overall atmosphere, which reflected the pride the owner and chefs take in their work, always prioritizing the customer experience.

We had an incredible meal with outstanding service. Jimmy made us feel completely at home. Every restaurant on the island could learn a thing or two from 18 Bay. That's all there is to say!

My favorites were the pasta course, the main (Halibut) and the panacotta dessert..wow!! The chef tasting appetizer (4 selections) wasn't as successful as I felt the servings were too small to really appreciate but..... I will definitely be back!! A gem of Shelter Island in its 8th season....

We spend our summer in shelter island every year and dining at 18 bay is a treat for us. We look forward to dining here every year.
