Chipotle Mexican Grill - Shawnee

Our dining experience at Chipotle tonight was extremely disappointing. The food was cold, and for a $20 burrito, it was lacking in protein. None of the ingredients we requested were included in our burritos. This experience was so unsatisfactory that we won't be returning to this location again.

The staff at this restaurant are clearly overworked and understaffed. Despite the challenges, they do an admirable job managing the situation and serving the crowds. I hope that the new restaurant opening up the street will help ease their burden a bit.

The woman at the front of the line made us wait while she dealt with online orders, despite customers being right in front of her ready to order. I assume she might be the manager or owner. I asked for a side of guacamole today and was ready to pay for it, but she claimed she had already added guacamole to my veggie bowl after overhearing the cashiers say that guacamole is included with it. I was prepared to pay for the side, but once she learned I wouldn't need to, she insisted it was already in my bowl and refused to give me my side of guacamole. This feels very dishonest, as it seems she took the guacamole from my order for her own benefit. She really needs to understand that what she did was wrong! I feel like she lied right in front of me. I should have asked her to open the lid to check, but I trusted her. When I got home, I found NO guacamole in my bowl!

Workers kept focusing on being mean to the new girl, saying she was contributing to an idiocracy instead of just making my order. 7 people working and the new girl was the only one who did her job of putting rice and beans in my bowl, and then when itgot to the girl that said she was contributing to the idiocracy, she kept literally dancing and ignoring my requests for chickenand other toppings, until 5 minutes later she finally realized that my now cold beans and rice were mine. When I told her Iwanted chicken she said hold on and went back to doing the online order, so I left. Waste of time and precious gas to drive here

Our eating had to be the worse experience on a chipotle tonight. eating was cold, the protein was missing for a $20 burrito. Nothing we wanted was put on the burritos. a bad experience that we do not return to this place.
