Mamas Pizza Grill 2 - Sharpes

Ate here a couple Saturdays ago, talked with owner and thought the place was good. Loved the Deep Dish Pizza. Planned to stop yesterday, so we called ahead to get a jump start on the pizza wait. Person on phone told us we cannot order ahead for eat in. This puzzles me because, I guess if we were going to stiff them, we could do so for eat-in or pick-up; and if they needed to be paid ahead, we could do so for eat-in or pick-up. Looking for a different spot!

I ordered food 2.5 hours ago. It just arrived soggy and cold. I was told by the person on the phone that it was a 3rd party that delivers and they just picked it up. If you are the owner and the 80.00 order has not been picked up yet how do you value your customers to receive your food cold and soggy. I have ordered numerous times. The store should hold themselves account able for the time limit for delivery. The store should have called and had you cancel the order rather than get food that's unacceptable. This was not. You lost a customer. It's not the drivers fault it's the store who sells the product because they did not take accountability knowingly knowing your food will not make the customer satisfied.

ETA: I wrote this review while still in the restaurant not believing it could get worse, however, it did. Received all of our other food, everyone but the out of town guest who’s deep dish was never put in, everyone but him also finished our food with empty glasses mind you, that we had to repeatedly go up to the counter to get refills for with zero apology. But they add an automatic gratuity for god knows why because I also had to get up and ask for silverware for our table. We called in for the deep dish at 6:51. It’s now 8:20 and we’re STILL WAITING ON IT.We were driving to this place with some out of town guests that wanted a deep dish, knowing it usuallat least 30 minutes to make it we called when we were 15 minutes away to see if they could go ahead and get one started, the girl was condescending and rude with the request and said we needed to pay for it, totally fair, and we paid for it on the phone. We get there, order some additional food and then let them know we had called in the deep dish. They tell us they didn’t start it claiming they didn’t know when we were coming lol which is a blatant lie because that was our reasoning for calling it in and she knew that. On top of that the bathroom in this place is ATROCIOUS. There’s a bottle of bleach spray inside, why idk because it’s clearly never been used. Another couple came in trying to order after saying they hung up on her multiple times trying to call in an order. Not sure where the owners are but they clearly need to step up.

The stench of sewer gas immediately hits you when you walk through the door. totally gross..... yet likely easily fixed by fixing a trap on a floor drain. The ogre of a woman running the place couldn't be any less concerned. she is not behind the counter and ...You are obviously bothering her by stepping foot in the stinky place. the food is mediocre at best. definitely not Italian in any way. I am certain this place's days are numbered.

We have tried almost everything on their menu and not been disappointed with anything. Their hero's their dinners and their pizza . Quick service great food and being from NY originally they are definitely doing something right
