Now, let's talk about the breakfast! Wow! We enjoyed a hearty spread that included eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, and even reindeer sausage! It was, without a doubt, the best breakfast I've ever had at a bed and breakfast. Overall, our stay was fantastic. Be sure to keep the Otter House on your list for your next trip to Seward!

I stayed here during the last week of June 2009, and I can't recommend it enough. The hosts are wonderful; they're friendly and willing to chat if you're in the mood, but they also know when to give you your privacy. The front room has two Ekornes chairs from Norway that you can swivel to face Resurrection Bay, and it's incredibly relaxing. The rooms are nice, but it's really the hosts, the stunning views, and the fantastic location that make the trip to Seward worthwhile. I had the best two days I've ever spent in Seward, and I often make the drive there in my Jeep several times a year.

**Host and Breakfast Review:** Gary is one of the most gracious hosts I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome; for example, I forgot my raincoat, and he kindly lent me one for the day. His culinary skills are equally impressive; the blueberry pancakes were outstanding, and the bacon and eggs were simply delicious. The fruit was fresh, and the coffee was brewed to perfection. He even treated us to a lovely cinnamon roll. The table was beautifully set, with every detail thoughtfully attended to. This level of hospitality is truly exceptional and deserves recognition; it's a rarity in today’s dining experiences. I’m eager to share my positive experience so that a fantastic place like this can continue to thrive.

This place is absolutely fantastic! My wife and I spent three nights here and loved every minute of it. The room was exceptional, featuring a super comfortable bed, a lovely bathroom, and a relaxing atmosphere. Gary prepared some amazing breakfasts for us during our stay and was incredibly hospitable. I highly recommend this spot for a getaway to Seward, and I would love to return!

The guest room and bathroom were very comfortable, well-appointed, and located in a private wing of the home, allowing us to relax after our long and scenic cruise through Kenai Fjords National Park. Our hosts, Gary and Cheryl, were incredibly warm, friendly, and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We loved hearing about their Alaska adventures, and they were extremely helpful in pointing us toward local attractions. Gary’s special made-to-order breakfast—whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted—served on Cheryl's lovely English bone china, was the perfect way to start each day. We were reluctant to leave because the view was so beautiful and soothing. Be sure to try the blueberry pancakes, crispy bacon, reindeer sausage, and cinnamon roll! This is a truly delightful and special place to stay when visiting Seward and Resurrection Bay!
