AVOID THIS PLACE! It 's a seafood place that grills fish on the spot in an open grill. I had a table near the grill and could see the chef grabbing the fish with bare hands and tossing it on the grill. At one point, he left the grilling kiosk, walked to the sidewalk, saw a crushed pack of cigarettes near the door and picked it up bare handed and tossed it in the trash. Next minute he was back to touching the fish with his bare hands!!!! The servers also grab fish from the ice with bare hands and then hand you a drink or a menu with the fishy hands! Service was terrible and the food was not worth the costs. I would NOT recommend. Beware: they will put all sorts of food on the table that one has not order. Unless one rejects it, they will charge you for it. See the long list in photo. Olives, bread, butter, cheese, pate....all without asking for it. You have to reject it all. And then they pass it along to everyone else, the same basket of bread!. They take advantage of foreigners who don 't understand the practice. When I asked about it, the waitress Florabela yelled that I had touched the bread and so I had to pay for it. It was massively deceptive! Frankly, Setubal was a bad experience. I have traveled extensively through Portugal and this is the only place I found the people to be consistently rude, dismissive, and deceptive. Setubal is not just gritty it 's mean spirited, snarky, abrasive and deceptive! Avoid it at all costs! The owner 's name is Marcio Baptista but all the servers are incredibly rude with few exceptions. Terrible experience!

In the fishing town of Setúbal, this nice restaurant presents us with some of the best fish you can find. The service is simple but that’s what you want if you’re looking for good food, and the prices are perfect. I will definitely return.

Typical portuguese family Restaurant. The interior is far from being a highlight....but the fresh Fish and friendliness of the staff makes more than up for it. They offer amazing seafood at very fair prices! Absolutely recommended!
