Casa Do Peixe - Setúbal

If you are searching for a fancy restaurant, you better skip this place. A bit untraditional, gardenlike and a rabbit pet, the food however is outstanding! Luis actually is a great host and I cannot find myself in the previous review. He quit working when he reached the age of 40-10, and build this restaurant with his own hands, love and passion. This is what you taste when eating the fish. A place worth visiting, I'm sure you won't regret. Well done Luis, keep up the good work! : Thank you for a great evening!

Our daughter is such a great fan of clams so when we were promised by the owner that he would have some tomorrow we decided to return the following day. I would have accepted if he had forgotten, or if he hadn 't been able to get any at the market, but not only didn 't he have any, the restaurant was closed when we arrived the next evening. We 've been a few times, and have always received the best entertainment, though seafood was a bit below par for Setúbal. Since failing to keep a promise to a 4-year-old we have never returned, though. I 'm aware this says nothing about the quality of the kitchen, but it does about the integrity of the chef...
