This place had been closed last time we visited we were pleased to be able to go. Very friendly waitress who speaks no English at all, the patron is rather surly tends to shout at the staff when under pressure. There is a huge smelly dog, Haribo, that potters about, really needs ignoring to prevent his coming to beg at the table! The food however was very good, particularly the steak the tartiflette. Some nights pizza is available; other nights there is a plat du jour for a fixed price which was excellent value. Small but adequate wine list, including local wines.
Under new management, I believe. Attractive dining room which included a large dog lolling by our table but fortunately not drooling ! We had a raclette with cheese which we shaved at the table and meats, new potatoes and salad. Very tasty and a bottle of wine all at reasonable cost for 2 persons and grandson had mince steak and followed by strawberry ice cream after he declined a chocolate one. The owner/ gentleman who served us was basic and not very friendly or smiley but the chef was very pleasant and friendly. I was with a French young lady and grandson who had just moved into the village. I would eat here again when visiting the family
