We had a mixed seafood plate as starter and a lobster as pornstar. it was delicious! some of the best seafood we ever had!
We dropped by for lunch on a trip out from Porto as we were told the restaurants of Matosinhos serve the best fish. That was pretty true the oysters and Grouper fish were both excellent, really tasty, and the waiter was very helpful in...giving this as a recommendation. Beyond that, the restaurant did feel like it was a bit stuck in a time warp, the potatoes and spinach accompaniment didn't really do justice to the beautiful fish, and overall it felt a bit overpriced for the experience as a whole.
There is no possibility to eat them in a normal price range. baked ink fish 23€, meere fruit rice with only garnel in tomato sauce 39€ for 2. all fish, crumbs and lobster from 60€ to 150€ /kg.
This restaurant is worth venting from porto, a about twenty minutes drive to matosinhos. the freshest seafood that are imaginable, and also large derecotes on their menu. the waiting staff sometimes seems to be a little gasthy, but they finally jump into their roll. beautiful selection of...Weinen, mainly from the nearby Douro valley.
