Restaurante O Alves - Senhora da Hora

This is my favorite restaurant in Matosinhos/Porto. Home food, very well served by a nice staff. Excellent property. Good value for the money. I recommend POLVO À LAGAREIRO and, as dessert, PÃO DE LÓ DE OVAR . This can be served with NIEPORT 10 YEARS Porto wine. However, there are other really good options. Amazing. Try to schedule, because usually it is full.

Amazing food and well served, came with my girlfriend and I was surprised by the quality of the meat, and I already came here before!

The restaurant is placed next to the Sea, in a area of restaurants Have large choices of fish and meat The service is very good , the is very good wine to choose , the building is very nice and unique

I visited this restaurant tonight, a place that i have been client for more than a decade visiting from time to time , Tonight i had The worst experience in a restaurant Ever , arrived at The restaurant alves by 10 pm, it says here The Place closes at 10:30 pm, the waiter said it was closed but went to a table where were 4 people that stared at our party and waved to the waiter after a freezing look at us, saying no, like if she was looking to see if it was somebody that she knew, that's no big deal there is like a thousand restaurants in Matosinhos or even more, it's JUST The act that was performed, with The restaurant with 6 tables with guests having Dinner yet

Second time we've been here and for a good reason. It has such a lovely atmosphere not to mention the food. We had octopus, one word wonderful. We were also served again by Andre who's very professional in what he does as he suggested the octopus and he was right. As per usual! Definately go back here again and again. Congrats
